Join us for the opening « Geisterjungen » by Lucas Ngo, this exhibition show Ngo’s paintings created from his artist residency at GLogauAir in 2021 until now. Incorporating ink and oil painting his work explores obsession, combines transparency, mist, and blur in his visual language.

At GlogauAir, he captures the theme of the chrysalis—a transformative space between the visible and invisible. The body becomes a hybrid landscape, blurring figuration and abstraction. This series reflects the emergence of new forms and the shedding of old skins. Documented through a video collaboration showing a model performing to evoke this theme and inspired by the fairy tale „The Six Swans,“ Ngo returned to oil painting.

Then, once Artist residency finished Lucas Ngo continued his work inspired by a painting « endymion’s sleep ». Experience the enchantment of « Geisterjungen » at Galerie Kollaborativ, opening on 06.07.2023 at 7pm, as Ngo’s artworks invite you into a realm of metamorphosis and hidden narratives.
